I too have a wheeled dump cart. The first time we put something slightly heavy, and I do mean SLIGHTLY, the right front tire went flat.
We tried finding a replacement tube to no avail. Finally contacted Tricam, who sent us a new wheel. We used our cart a couple of times for light weight stuff, then again for something heavy....and guess what? Yep, popped again!!
We were done for the summer, and I forgot about getting ahold of Tricam over the winter as the cart was stored. Spring has come, and we have been extremely busy with another part of our life, and the other day, I needed the cart. I had forgotten the wheel was flat again, and contacted Tricam. It is obvious that since the SAME wheel keeps popping when weight is put into it, that there has to be some sort of design flaw.
I tried to get them to just replace my cart so we could continue using it. I realize it may be just our cart, and that we were the lucky ones that got a flawed cart off the assembly line. However, since I was a little late on the warranty, they gave in and are replacing the tire....again....but refuse to replace the cart. Well...as a result Tricam, I have already told lots of people about your poor customer service....and they have already changed their mind about your carts and your products over all.
Sorry Tricam, you just lost a LOT of business, all because you refused to replace just 1 faulty cart!!!!
I realize that I forgot to contact them sooner. But I also thought we bought the cart in June last year, so I wasn't terribly worried until now. Come to find out, we bought it when it was on sale early in spring, I don't think we used it though until June. So my bad.
But still....the company could do a little better. If this is the only cart they have had this complaint on, then what harm is it to replace 1 cart.
The issue I have is the poor customer service, and that we payed a lot of money for a cart we cannot use!! At this point, I will no longer purchase items made by Tricam due to the poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $109.
